Have you ever dreamed of studying in another country?  Eljas, from Hovd Soum, has been studying in America for the past two years.  He teamed up with Peace Corps Volunteer, Devon Lee (Social worker at School № 6), to organize a college/English camp in his village this summer.  Over 60 students took part in a week-long English ‘camp’ that included everything from English grammar lessons to a Scavenger hunt and Relay race.  An important part of the ‘camp’ was afternoon lectures about college preparation and opportunities to study in Mongolia and beyond.  Students had the opportunity to hear, first hand, about Eljas’ experiences and asked him many questions.  If you would like to organize a camp in your village, please write to us at english@zereg.net for more information.
