The written part of the test consisted of listening, grammar, vocabulary, read and writing sections.

The spoken component had two parts.  First answering questions about oneself and then talking about a picture for one minute.

For
Teachers’ Day 2013 the Department of Education put on an English language competition for non-language teachers.  Three teachers from each school were invited to participate.  The competition was very well attended, in total 24 teachers took part.
